Set Sail for Adventure During Pirate Week

Feel free to don your best pirate attire as you race your very own popsicle stick boats across our camp waters, guaranteed to float! Creativity thrives here too, as campers will design their own plant pot, allowing them to bring home a piece of nature! Let the wild fun begin and create unforgettable memories this summer.
UNDER THE SEA WEEK

Dive Into Adventure with Under The Sea Week
Dive into adventure with our Under The Sea Week! This exciting summer camp experience is filled with thrilling activities that revolve around Sharks, Dolphins, and Mermaids. Kids will unleash their creativity with vibrant watercolour paintings and enjoy a host of water-based games that make for a truly wet and wonderful week. Don’t forget to collect beautiful sea shells while splashing in the surf!
LOCATION
The 50 Acre Wood day camp program is run through Elmwood Community School. We have a 50 Acre forest with a family home, and small hobby farm nestled into a beautiful mature pine forest. We have a small frog pond, and a campsite as well as a large open field where we can play team games. we are located at 541504 Concession 14 NDR, Chesley Ontario
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each morning your child will meet up with their camp counsellors at the campsite at the front of the property. Each day follows a similar schedule with games, activities, craft time, lunch break, and more. You child is expected to bring their own lunch, however the camp does provide a healthy snack each day.
Each day, there will be at least one administrator from Elmwood Community School present on the property and available to support our camp counsellors at a moments notice.
At 3:30 your child will be ready for pick up back at the campsite. If you require extended child care past 3:30pm, there is babysitting offered until 5:30 at a rate of $10/hour. Any pick up more than FIVE MINUTES late will be charged $10 for after care.
Camps run rain or shine, however, there will be shelters available in case of extremely inclement weather and rain day plans. However, children are expected to come dressed for the weather to still have fun outdoors.
